Chelsea vs. Huddersfield Preview

Final home game of the season!!

Every game is a must win game for Chelsea. The three points were massive against Liverpool but this game and the game against Newcastle are equally as important.

Huddersfield have had a mixed season in the top flight but the point they got against City at the weekend should keep them in the Premier League for next season. The Terriers were will be looking to put in a similar performance against Chelsea and the blues will have to continue their recent form to pick up the three points.

For Chelsea getting all 6 points from the next two games is the only way in which we stand a chance of finishing in the top four. Although 6 points could also not be enough as we need either Liverpool or Tottenham to drop points. Out of the two teams Tottenham look most likely to falter and as Chelsea fans we hope that our ex-manager Benitez or Leicester do us a favour.

In the pre-match press conference Conte was asked the usual questions about his future to which he gave the usual answer. Conte was also quizzed on the future of Morata who has been linked to Juventus in the last couple of days. Conte stated that Morata is a Chelsea player and will be a Chelsea player next season. Conte also praised the Giroud for the impact he has had in the second half of the season and the performance that Bakayoko put in against Liverpool.

Chelsea need the 6 points and the first 3 points need to be won tomorrow.

Chelsea Team Preview

Morata is back in contention for the game as Conte stated that there are no new injuries. There are bound to be some rotations and probably a change in formation as Chelsea will look to employ a more attack minded approach.
