Revenge for last year.

Our second friendly of Pre-Season comes in Nice as we take on Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. The same fixture was played in Singapore last year which Inter Milan won 2-1. This is Inter’s first friendly of the season and so Inter will give importance to fitness though the result will also be something to keep an eye on. This game is another chance for the players to build up their fitness and practice Sariball against tougher opponents. I expect the first half to be similar to the one in Australia where the players most likely to start are on show. The second half should see players that have just joined the squad see some game time.

Chelsea Team Preview

The Chelsea squad welcome back Azpi, Rudiger, Christensen, Caballero, and Victor Moses while new signing Rob Green also joins the travelling squad. Thompson, Collins, Tomori, Hector, Kalas, Aina, Pasalić, and Palmer have been left at home or loaned out.

Inter Team Preview

Inter have reinforced their team with the likes of Radja Naingolan and the impressive Lauturo Martinez. Luciano Spaletti has mentioned his admiration for Sarri and the football he plays while also stating that he will have a new reason to follow the Premier League this season.

Starting XI Prediction

Expect the exact same predicted lineup as the last game but Azpi should replace Zappacosta in the starting XI.

Can’t wait to see more Sariball and hopefully we can avenge our loss to Inter from last season.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!
