Chelsea vs Bournemouth Preview

Keep on winning!

This fixture last season was a disastrous one as we lost 3-0 on the day. This is good game to maintain the positive run we have had at the beginning of the season and to go into International break with a possible 12 points out of 12.

Bournemouth have no lost this season having one their first two games and drawing at home to Everton last weekend. Their forwards such as Wilson are in a good run of form and the defence as usual is doing comparatively well. Last weekend was tough for Chelsea as Newcastle sat back with 9 men and the goalie and if Bournemouth employ a similar tactic against us then we could see another difficult night at Stamford Bridge. Game by game Sarriball is improving and while the forwards are seemingly getting along fine it is the defence that needs consideration. In my personal opinion Christensen should be brought in for David Luiz. David Luiz is great when on the ball but his lack of pace and at times decision making has caused us problems down the left hand flank in our previous games. Alonso is also another issue defensively but he seems to be improving and his threat in attack means that he should keep his position. Chelsea along with Liverpool, Watford and Spurs remain the only team to have 3 wins out of 3 and we should continue that run tomorrow.

Chelsea Team Preview

The hope is that Christensen starts but other than that the mostly likely scenario is that Sarri sticks to the same set of players. Barkley might start ahead of Kovacic although I think Kovacic will keep his place. Fabregas remains injured.

Bournemouth Team Preview

Smith is missing due to getting a straight red against Everton last weekend, other than that it should be the same starting lineup from last weekend.
