A tough trip to Burnley.
Burnley started the season off in brilliant fashion but have fallen off recently as they sit 14th in the table. Last week they were thrashed 5-0 but Man City and their defence is not its usual solid self. Last year Burnley were the ones who defeated us at the Bridge but we restored things to normal as we beat them away from home. Sean Dyche will set up to play a counter attacking style of football as Chelsea will be aloud to have plenty of the possession. A point would be a decent return for Burnley but Chelsea will have other results on their mind.
Chelsea will have plenty of the ball and so the players should expect games similar to the ones at Newcastle and at the beginning of the season. Plenty of chances should be created but the players will have to be clinical with those chances. The longer the game goes without Chelsea taking the lead the more encouragement Burnley will get to nick the game at the end. The players and Sarri will not want to end their unbeaten run and Burnley is tough away opposition. The game against United showed that we still have defensive frailties but going forward we can match anyone. This game might not see many goals but Chelsea should edge it by a goal or two to move into second.
Chelsea Team Preview
The only player missing for Chelsea would be Ethan Ampadu, while the usual starting XI should start the game. Sarri made 8 substitutions mid week and so there should be several fresh legs on show. Morata should start ahead of Giroud although an exotic choice would be to try Loftus-Cheek in the centre forward position. Hazard injured his back against United but should start this game although it is not certain, otherwise Pedro and Willian will most likely start. In my opinion Hudson-Odoi should start ahead of Willian but its not my choice. Kepa should start in goal, the defence should be the usual four and Jorginho and Kante should start but with Kovacic and Loftus Cheek featuring mid week Barkley might start this game.
Burnley Team Preview
Nick Pope and Aaron Lennon remain the only missing players for Burnley as Sean Dyche has a fit squad to select from. Dyche should pick a squad similar to the one he picked against City last weekend.
Starting XI Prediction
A tough game but three points for Chelsea should be on the cards. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
