Chelsea vs. Everton Preview

Another great game on Super Sunday!

Chelsea welcome Everton to the Bridge for what is the final game before this years final international break. Everton sit 9th in the table having won 5 drawn 3 and lost 3. Marcos Silva has created a good team and there is plenty of potential for improvement. Everton have several brilliant players this season such as Richarlison, Pickford, Walcott, Tosun, Andre Gomes, Bernard, and the yet to play Yerry Mina. They even have Kurt Zouma on loan although he will not be able to play against Chelsea as we are his parent club. Everton tend to play well on their day but they also tend to slip away although in recent weeks the prior has been more of a case.

Chelsea had a tough trip to Minsk mid week but they managed to rest several players that would usually play. It will be a tough game against Everton but in recent seasons we have enjoyed success against them and one cannot forget the same fixture in the 16/17 season in which the heights of 3-4-3 were achieved. Sarriball in recent weeks tends to take a step back in cup and Europa League games but in the Premier League it get’s going once the players get into gear. In what is a jam packed Sunday this game should not disappoint and if Chelsea get out of the blocks early then it could be one very entertaining game. Marcos Silva is not one to make his teams sit back and defend and this game should be filled with goals.

Chelsea Team Preview

Chelsea have a full squad to select from with Hazard having come back to fitness in recent games. The only questionable position remains who will start alongside Kante, and Jorginho. Barkley would be raring to go against his former club but depending on the approach from Sarri it could be either him or Kovacic.

Everton Team Preview

Marcos Silva also has a full squad to select from but Zouma will miss out due to Chelsea being his parent club. Yerry Mina will probably make his first start in the Premier League.

Starting XI Prediction

Time to go into the International break on a positive note! COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
