The final stretch begins now!

Premier League MW 32

Fulham vs. Man City

City return to league action with a trip to London to play Fulham who are 19th in the table. Fulham are most likely going to be relegated and with City pushing for a quadruple they have a chance to pile pressure on Liverpool with a win. Sterling is on fire and this should be an easy win for the Manchester side. City won the reverse fixture 3-0.

Brighton vs. Southampton

15th vs. 16 as Southampton travel to sunny Brighton, a win is important for both sides as they look to create a gap between themselves and the relegation zone. Southampton have been an in form side since the New Year while Brighton are always strong at home. This should be a close game with high stakes on either side. The reverse fixture was a 2-2 draw. 

Burnley vs. Wolverhampton

7th placed Wolves travel to 17th placed Burnley as they look to solidify their position as best of the rest. Wolves are known as the top 6 killers but sometimes find it harder to play against the lower placed teams. Burnley are well and truly in a relegation scrap and a loss could see them fall further away from safety. Higher stakes for Burnley against tough opposition. Wolves won the reverse fixture 1-0.

Crystal Palace vs. Huddersfield

14th placed Palace entertain bottom team Huddersfield as they aim for a top 10 finish. Palace are well within the danger zone of possible relegation and with Huddersfield visiting they will hope to get a much needed 3 points. Huddersfield are all but relegated and really have nothing to lose and that is where they could pose some danger. Palace won the reverse fixture 0-1. 

Leicester vs. Bournemouth

10th vs 12th as Leicester entertain Bournemouth. These times are really just fighting for a top 10 finish and looking to end the season on a high. Bournemouth have just 1 win in their last five games while Leicester have won their last two. Leicester are a team in form but Bournemouth are always capable of turning their form on. Bournemouth won the reverse fixture 4-2.

Man United vs. Watford

Ole has officially become the manager of Manchester United as it was announced on Thursday. United find themselves 5th, 2 points behind Arsenal who are 4th as 8th placed Watford visit Old Trafford. The real test for Ole starts now and Watford are team that like to play against higher opposition. United will look to give Ole a good start once again but Watford have it in them to upset the party. United won the reverse fixture 1-2. 

West Ham vs. Everton

9th vs. 11th as Everton travel to London to play West Ham. Everton had a great win right before the International break as they beat Chelsea while West Ham also won their game. Similar to the other teams around them all they are trying to do is finish in the top 10 and create some good form and this should be a fun and close tie. West Ham won the reverse fixture 1-3. 


Liverpool vs. Tottenham

The fixture of the weekend comes to us from Anfield as Tottenham visit league leaders Liverpool. Liverpool lead the table by 2 points with a game in hand while Tottenham are 3rd but just a point ahead of Arsenal who are 4th. Liverpool are dreaming of a title but with the City charging behind them they face tough competition this weekend. Tottenham will be moving into their new stadium next weekend and they will want to create some momentum. Liverpool have had several weeks of rest and while Tottenham could cause problems Liverpool should win this. A Liverpool win should also make the top four race very very interesting. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 1-2. 

Arsenal vs. Newcastle

Arsenal look to reach 3rd place as they entertain Newcastle at the Emirates. Newcastle are 13th and have picked up form in the New Year although Arsenal are completely different opposition. Benitez and Newcastle have the capability of causing upsets but Arsenal will have have a top four finish in mind. A close game to keep on eye on. Arsenal won the reverse fixture 1-2. 

La Liga MW 29

Barcelona entertain Espanyol, Atletico travel to Alaves, Sevilla play Valencia, and Real Madrid entertain Huesca. Barcelona have a 10 point lead in La Liga as it seems that they will be winning the title, the rest fight for a top four finish. 

Serie MW 29

Juventus entertain Empoli, Milan travel to Sampdoria, Roma play Napoli, and Inter play Lazio. Tough games in Serie A this weekend as Juventus look to get back to winning ways after their first league loss. Juventus still lead the table with a gap of 15 points while the rest fight for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. 

Bundesliga MW 27

Hoffenheim play Bayer Leverkusen, Monchengladbach travel to Dusseldorf, Bayern travel to Freiburg, Dortmund play Wolfsburg, Leipzig entertain Hertha Berlin, and Frankfurt play Stuttgart. Bayern are 1st on goal difference as its all very close in terms of the title and the top four race. Dortmund were cruising but poor form has brought Bayern back into the race. 

Ligue MW 30

Lyon travel to Rennes, Marseille play Angers, Monaco entertain Caen, Lille travel to Nantes, and PSG travel to Toulouse. PSG are 20 points clear with a game in hand as the top four race continues.
