Slavia Praha 0 vs. 1 Chelsea Europa League Quarter-Final 1st Leg Review

Just about got over the line.

It took an Marcos Alonso header in the 86th minute for Chelsea to seal victory in Prague as our side of subs continued to prove that Sarri really only has half a squad he can work with. Kepa started in goal, Azpi, Rudiger, Christensen, and Alonso started in defence, Jorginho, Kovacic, and Barkley started in midfield and Willian, Giroud, and Pedro started upfront. Chelsea’s defence were the standout performers as Kepa and co made some brilliant saves and last ditch tackles to keep Slavia at bay.

The real importance for Chelsea was the win and we got that, the other important factor was to rest the likes of Hazard, CHO, RLC, Emerson, Luiz etc which we also managed to an extent. Chelsea have more than enough to finish the tie in the 2nd leg and so our attention shifts to Liverpool as we look to spoil the party and also make our own push for the top four. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
