The race goes on!

Premier League MW 35

Man City 1 vs. 0 Tottenham

Foden scored in the 5th minute and two Spurs penalties were not given as City managed to exact revenge on Spurs and continue to push on for the title. City remain 2nd with a game in hand while Tottenham remain 3rd but could drop to 4th. 

Bournemouth 0 vs. 1 Fulham

Mitrovic scored a penalty in the 2nd half as Fulham got their 2nd win in a row against Bournemouth. Bournemouth drop into 14th with the loss while Fulham remain 19th with the win. 

Huddersfield 1 vs. 2 Watford

Deulofeu scored goals in the 5th and 80th minutes of the game and while Huddersfield managed a goal through Grant in the 93rd minute Watford got the win. Watford move into 8th with the win while Huddersfield continue to suffer losses at the bottom. 

West Ham 2 vs. 2 Leicester

Antonio gave West Ham the lead in the first half before Vardy equalised for Leicester in the 67th minute. Perez then got West Ham back in front in the 82nd minute but Barnes scored his first goal for Leicester in the 92nd minute to manage a point. West Ham remain in 11th while Leicester drop into 9th. 

Wolverhampton 0 vs. 0 Brighton

Wolves continued their dodgy form by only managing a goalless draw against Brighton at home. The draw sees Wolves drop further down the table into 10th while Brighton are 17th, 3 points ahead of Cardiff. 

Newcastle 3 vs. 1 Southampton

Perez scored a hattrick over two halves while Lemina got a consolation goal as Newcastle got a resounding win against Southampton. The win sees Newcastle move into 13th while Southampton remain 16th and 5 points ahead of the relegation zone. 

Everton 4 vs. 0 Man United

Ole seems to have lost total control at the wheel as United got thrashed at Everton. Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Digne, and Walcott all scored to get the resounding win. Everton move into 7th with the win while United remain 6th in the table. 

Arsenal 2 vs. 3 Crystal Palace

Palace got a massive win against Arsenal which had more consequence for the losing side as Arsenal suffer a loss in their hopes for top four. Benteke scored in the 17th minute to give Palace the lead but Ozil scored right after half time to bring Arsenal back into the game. Zaha then scored in the 61st minute after some comical defending by Mustafi and McArthur made it three 8 minutes later. Aubameyang did score in the 77th minute but Palace held on for the win. Palace move into 12th with the win while Arsenal remain 4th but could drop into 5th. 

Cardiff 0 vs. 2 Liverpool

Wijnaldum and Milner scored in the second half to continue Liverpool’s chase for the title as they moved back into 1st after City had won. If both teams continue to win their games City will be crowned champions and so all Liverpool can do is pray that City drop points while they do not drop any. Cardiff remain 18th but only 3 points behind safety. 

La Liga MW 33

Atletico beat Eibar 0-1, Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 2-1, and Real beat Bilbao 3-0. Barcelona remain 9 points clear at the top while Atletico, Real and Getafe make up the top four. 

Serie MW 33

Milan drew with Parma 1-1, Juventus beat Fiorentina 2-1, and Inter drew with Roma 1-1. Juventus’s win means that they are crowned champions of Italy for the 8th successive season. No team in Europe’s top five leagues has accomplished such a feat but the main aim alludes them for another season which is the Champions League. 

Bundesliga MW 30

Bayern beat Werder Bremen 1-0, Leipzig beat Monchengladbach 1-2, Hoffenheim beat Schalke 2-5, and Dortmund beat Freiburg 0-4. The race for the Bundesliga continues as Bayern lead Dortmund by a point. Leipzig and Frankfurt make up the top four. 

Ligue MW 33

Lyon beat Angers 2-1, Marseille beat Guingamp 1-3, Lille drew with Toulouse 0-0, and PSG beat Monaco 3-1. Mbappe’s hattrick and Lille’s draw meant that PSG finally sealed the title for this season on their third attempt. Much like Juventus PSG’s dominance in their league is granted but their main target continues to allude them which is the Champions League.
