The Bundesliga continues on but the big news this weekend is that the Serie A and Premier League will be returning in June. The Premier League will start from June 17th and Serie A from June 20th. In 3 weeks FOOTBALL WILL BE BACK!!!

Bundesliga MW 29

Freiburg vs. Leverkusen

These two teams dropped points last weekend with Leverkusen suffered a heavy defeat against Wolfsburg. Freiburg are 8th and still in contention for a 6th place finish as they target the Europa League. Leverkusen are 5th and looking to enter the Champions League spots. It should be an interesting game and Leverkusen need to bounce back to stay within touch of the top four. The reverse fixture was a 1-1 draw.

Mainz vs. Hoffenheim

Mainz sit right above the relegation zone as they welcome Hoffenheim who are 7th and targeting the Europa League. Mainz have been in poor form and could drop into the relegation zone with Hoffenheim the favourites in this game. This should be a straightforward game for the away team. Mainz won the reverse fixture 1-5.

Wolfsburg vs. Frankfurt

Wolfsburg got a big win against maintained their 6th place position as 14th placed Frankfurt visit. Frankfurt are just two points above the relegation zone and need to rack up points if they are to survive. It is a big game for both teams with Frankfurt having a lot to lose. Wolfsburg won the reverse fixture 0-2.

Schalke vs. Werder Bremen

9th placed Schalke take on 17th placed Werder Bremen. Bremen have an outside chance at survival but they need to win while Schalke have been extremely poor since football returned and could fall outside the top 10. Werder are the team in better form at the moment. Schalke won the reverse fixture 1-2.

Hertha Berlin vs. Augsburg

10th vs 12th as Hertha take on Augsburg. Hertha are looking at challenging for a 6th place finish while Augsburg are trying to maintain distance from the relegation zone. This should be an interesting game with two evenly matched teams. Augsburg won the reverse fixture 4-0.

Bayern Munich vs. Dusseldorf

Munich have been on a role and are heading for an 8th straight title while Dusseldorf have been decent and are a point from safety. That good form could end in this game for the away side as Bayern have been too dominant since the return of football. Dusseldorf will have to hope that teams ahead of the drop points as well. Bayern won the reverse fixture 0-4.

Monchengladbach vs. Union Berlin

4th placed Monchengladbach take on 13th placed Union Berlin. Much like most of the teams in the league Monchengladbach is looking at maintaining a top 4 place while Union are looking at keeping distance from the relegation zone. Monchengladbach need a win and could get it against Union. Union beat Monchengladbach 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

Paderborn vs. Dortmund

Dortmund travel to last place Paderborn as they look to bounce back from their loss to Munich and so Paderborn are the perfect competition. The home team have nothing to lose though and could pose more of a threat than Dortmund expect. I still expect the away team to get 3 points. The reverse fixture was a surprising 3-3 draw.

Koln vs. RB Leipzig

11th placed Koln take on Leipzig who sit 3rd. Koln dont have much to play for while Leipzig have been far from ruthless since the return of football. It could be a tough game for the away team but 3 points should got to Leipzig. Leipzig won the reverse fixture 4-1.
