The usual teams win but perhaps the best news is that the Premier League is returning on the 17th while La Liga is returning on the 11th with Serie A also on its way back during the same week. Bundesliga MW 29
Freiburg 0 vs. 1 Leverkusen
Havertz scored in the 54th minute in what was a tightly contested game to give Leverkusen 3 points and a win. Freiburg remain 8th while Leverkusen remain 5th in the table level on points with Monchengladbach but behind on goal difference.
Mainz 0 vs. 1 Hoffenheim
Ihlas Bebou scored in the 43rd minute to give Hoffenheim an important win against Mainz who could not distance themselves from the relegation zone. Mainz are now a point above the relegation zone while Hoffenheim remain 7th level on points with Wolfsburg who are 6th and behind on goal difference.
Wolfsburg 1 vs. 2 Frankfurt
Andre Silva gave Frankfurt the lead in the 27th minute thanks to a penalty but Mbabu equalised for Woflsburg in the 58th minute. Kamada then scored in the 84th minute to steal three points for Frankfurt as Torro got a red card in the 94th minute for the away side. Wolfsburg remain 6th but only on goal difference as they now could fall further down the table. Frankfurt move two places into 12th as they distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Schalke 0 vs. 1 Werder Bremen
Bittencourt scored in the 32nd minute to give Werder Bremen a massive win against Schalke as the away side continue their extremely poor form since the return of football. Schalke drop into 10th while Werder Bremen remain 17th but only 3 points from safety.
Hertha Berlin 2 vs. 0 Augsburg
Dilrosun scored in the 23rd minute while Piatek scored in the 93rd minute to seal off a comfortable win for Hertha as they look to move up the table. Augsburg drop into 13th while Hertha move one place into 9th.
Bayern Munich 5 vs. 0 Dusseldorf
Jorgensen started off proceedings for Munich in the 15th minute as he scored an own goal to give the home team a lead. Pavard then scored in the 29th minute while Lewandowski scored in the 43rd minute. Lewandowski made it 4 in the 50th minute while Davies finished matters off in the 52nd minute. Dusseldorf did well to not concede goals after that. Bayern maintain their 7 point lead at the top of the table while Dusseldorf remain 16th and a point from safety.
Monchengladbach 4 vs. 1 Union Berlin
Neuhaus gave Monchengladbach the lead in the 17th minute while Marcus Thuram doubled the lead in the 41st minute. Andersson got one back for Union in the 50th minute before Thuram restored the lead for the home team in the 59th minute. Plea then sealed the win in the 81st minute. Monchengladbach maintain their 4th place position with the win while Berlin drop down to 14th only 4 points above the relegation zone.
Paderborn 1 vs. 6 Dortmund
The first half saw very few moments of brilliance but the 2nd was lit up with goals as Hazard gave Dortmund the lead in the 54th minute. Sancho then doubled Dortmund’s lead in the 57th minute before Hunemeier got one back for Paderborn via a penalty in the 72nd minute. Sancho then restored Dortmund’s 2 goal deficit in the 74th minute while Hakimi made it 4 in the 85th minute. Schmelzer then made it 5 in the 89th minute and Sancho sealed his hattrick and the 6th goal in the 92nd minute. Paderborn remain bottom of the table while Dortmund remain 2nd 7 points behind Bayern.
Koln 2 vs. 4 RB Leipzig
Cordoba gave Koln the lead in the 7th minute but Schick equalised for Leipzig in the 20th minute. Nkunku gave Leipzig the lead in the 38th minute. Werner made it 3 in the 50th minute but Modeste gave Koln some hope in 55th minute by making it 2-3. Olmo made it comfortable for Leipzig in the 57th minute and Leipzig sealed the 3 points. Koln remain 11th while Leipzig remain 3rd in the table.
