Some big results!

Premier League MW 32

Brighton 0 vs. 3 Man United

United continued their great restart after the lockdown as Greenwood scored 1 goal and Fernandes scored two in a dominant performance. Brighton had some good moments but fell short on the day. Brighton remain 15th in the table while United remain 5th but now only 3 points behind 3rd placed Leicester. 

Bournemouth 1 vs. 4 Newcastle

It’s a shame Newcastle have hit form post lockdown and are scoring freely but fans are not allow to enjoy it in the stadium. Gayle, Longstaff, Almiron, and Lazaro scored the goals before Bournemouth got a consolation via Gosling in the 94th minute. Bournemouth drop down to 19th in the table while Newcastle move up to 13th as they can sniff a Europa League place. 

Everton 2 vs. 1 Leicester City

A European clash as one team aims for the Europa League while the other aims for the Champions League and Leicester continued their poor form. Richarlison and Sigurdsson scored within 20 minutes to give Everton the lead while Iheanacho got one back in the 51st minute but Everton held on. Everton move up to 11th 3 points behind Sheffield while Leicester remain 3rd thanks to Chelsea’s loss but are now only 3 points ahead of 6th placed Wolves. 

Arsenal 4 vs. 0 Norwich

Aubameyang got two goals, while Xhaka added another and Cedric scored on his debut as Arsenal won comfortably against Norwich. Norwich didn’t make life easy for themselves with what was a dismal defensive performance but Arsenal needed the win and got it. Arsenal move into 8th and a point behind Sheffield while Norwich remain bottom of the table and 7 points from safety. 

Sheffield United 3 vs. 1 Tottenham

Sheffield needed to win to stop the slump while Tottenham looked like they were improving but the Blades had another idea and got a massive 3 points. Berge, Mousset, and McBurnie scored before Kane got a late consolation goal. Berge was particularly dangerous while there was some VAR controversy but Tottenham were below par. Sheffield United move into 7th in the table while Tottenham drop to 9th. 

Man City 4 vs. 0 Liverpool

Liverpool were playing their first game as Champions as they received a guard of honour from the City players and then Pep and team resumed business. Liverpool seemed like they were still on the beach and hungover as they got thrashed by City in a dominant performance. De Bruyne, Sterling, Foden, and Oxlade-Chamberlain scored for City as Klopp and co had no reply. At the end of the day it makes no impact as there is such a big gap but City have now thrown the gauntlet for next season and Liverpool need to wake up. City go within 20 points of Liverpool. 

La Liga MW 33

Mallorca 5 vs. 1 Celta Vigo

Budimir, Hernandez, and Pozo scored in the first half to give Mallorca a comfortable lead. Aspas scored in the 50th minute to give Celta Vigo a chance but Budimir and Sevilla scored again to give Mallorca a big win. Mallorca remain 18th but now 5 points from safety while Celta Vigo remain 17th. 

Leganes 0 vs. 3 Sevilla

Torres got two and Haddadi scored one as Sevilla got a comfortable win against Leganes. Leganes remain 19th and 9 points from safety while Sevilla remain 4th and 3 points clear of 5th. 

Barcelona 2 vs. 2 Atletico Madrid

Costa scored an own goal in the 11th minute to give Barcelona the lead before Niguez scored a penalty in the 19th minute to equalise. Messi then scored a penalty to give Barcelona the lead in the 50th minute but Niguez scoed another penalty in the 62nd minute to seal a point for the away team. Barcelona remain 2nd but now 4 points behind Real Madrid while Atletico remain 3rd 2 points ahead of Sevilla. 

Alaves 0 vs. 2 Granada

Antonin and Soldado scored to give Granada a win against Alaves. Alaves actually move up to 15th with the loss while Granada move up to 9th in the table. 

Valencia 0 vs. 2 Bilbao

Garcia scored both goals for Bilbao as they got a comfortable win against Valencia. Valencia drop down to 10th in the table while Bilbao move up to 8th in the table. 

Valladolid 0 vs. 0 Levante

A goalless draw for both teams as neither could break the other down. Valladolid remain 14th in the table while 12th placed Levante remain 12th. 

Real Betis 0 vs. 2 Villarreal

Moreno scored both goals for Villarreal in a good win for the away team while Fekir was sent off before half time. Betis remain 13th while Villarreal remain 5th in the table 3 points behind Sevilla. 

Real Sociedad 2 vs. 1 Espanyol

Lopez scored in the 10th minute to give Espanyol the lead as it looked like Sociedad would suffer another loss. William Jose though got the equaliser for Sociedad in the 56th minute and Isak scored the winner in the 84th minute. Sociedad remain 7th in the table while Espanyol remain 20th and 10 points from safety. 

Eibar 0 vs. 2 Osasuna

Ruben Garcia scored two goals for Osasuna as the away team got a good win. Eibar drop down to 16th while Osasuna remain 11th in the table. 

Real Madrid 1 vs. 0 Getafe

Ramos scored the winning penalty in the 79th minute as Real Madrid just about got 3 points in a tough game. The league leaders go 4 points clear at the top while Getafe continue their struggles but remain 6th in the table. 

Serie MW 29

Torino 1 vs. 2 Lazio

Belotti scored in the 5th minute to give Torino the lead but Lazio made a comeback as Immobile scored in the 48th minute and Parolo scored the winner in the 72nd minute. Torino remain 13th while Lazio remain 2nd and 4 points behind Juventus. 

Genoa 1 vs. 3 Juventus

Dybala, Ronaldo and Costa scored for Juventus while Pinamonti got a consolation goal for Genoa. Genoa remain 17th a point above the relegation zone while Juventus remain top of the table with their 4 point gap. 

Bologna 1 vs. 1 Cagliari

Barrow gave Bologna the lead right before half time and Simeone equalised for Cagliari right after half time. Neither team could break the deadlock though as they shared the points. Bologna remain 11th and Cagliari move up to 9th. 

Inter Milan 6 vs. 0 Brescia

Inter got a massive win against lowly Brescia as Young, Sanchez, D’Ambrosio, Gagliardini, Eriksen, and Candreva all scored in the game. 6 different scorers and 3 points make Conte a happy man. Inter remain 3rd and 4 points behind Lazio while Brescia move to the bottom of the table 8 points from safety. 

Lecce 1 vs. 2 Sampdoria

Gaston Ramirez remember him scored a penalty in the 40th minute to give Sampdoria the lead before Mancosu equalised for Lecce in the 50th minute. Ramirez though scored another penalty in the 75th minute to get three points for Sampdoria. Lecce remain 18th a point from safety while Sampdoria remain 16th 4 points from the relegation zone. 

Fiorentina 1 vs. 3 Sassuolo

Defrel scored two and Muldur scored 1 for Sassuolo as they got a nice 0-3 lead over Fiorentina. Cutrone got one back for Fiorentina in the 90th minute but it was just a consolation. Fiorentina remain 14th in the table while Sassuolo remain 12th. 

SPAL 2 vs. 2 AC Milan

Valoti, and Floccari scored two goals in the 1st half to give SPAL the lead while they had D’Alessandro sent off for them in the 43rd minute. Leao got one back for Milan in the 79th minute and Vicari scored an own goal for SPAL in the 94th minute to gift Milan a point. SPAL move up into 19th 7 points from safety while Milan remain 7th. 

Verona 3 vs. 2 Parma

Kulusevski gave Parma the lead in the 14th minute but Di Carmine equalised via a penalty right before half time. Zaccagni then gave Verona the lead in the 54th minute but Gagliolo equalised for Parma in the 64th minute. Pessina then scored the winner for Verona in the 81st minute. Verona remain 8th in the table while Parma drop down to 10th. 

Atalanta 2 vs. 0 Napoli

Atalanta continued their brilliant form as they beat Napoli thanks to goals from Pasalic, and Gosens. Atalanta remain 4th 4 points behind Inter while Napoli remain 6th in the table. 

AS Roma 0 vs. 2 Udinese

Roma continue to struggle as Udinese got a win thanks to goals from Lasagna, and Nestorovski. Roma remain 5th in the table while Udinese remain 15th in the table.
