Plenty to play for!

Premier League MW 33

Norwich 0 vs. 1 Brighton

Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute to give Brighton a good win over Norwich. Norwich continue to show no sense of fight as they lose yet again. The home team remain bottom of the table and find themselves 7 points from safety with relegation all but looking certain. Brighton remain 15th with the win.

Leicester 3 vs. 0 Crystal Palace

After a tight first half Leicester finished the game off in the 2nd with a goal from Iheanacho and two from Vardy. Leicester remain 3rd with the win 3 points clear of 5th while Palace drop down to 14th with the loss. 

Man United 5 vs. 2 Bournemouth

Another big win for Ole and team as they beat Bournemouth by 5 goals to 2. Stanislas gave Bournemouth the lead in the 16th minute but Greenwood, Martial and Rashford scored before half time to make it 3-1. King got one back for Bournemouth after half time to make it 3-2 but Greenwood and Fernandes scored to seal the win. United remain 5th 2 points behind Chelsea while Bournemouth remain 19th a point from safety.

Wolverhampton 0 vs. 2 Arsenal

Saka and Lacazette scored in either half to give Arsenal a massive win against Wolves. Arsenal are putting up a decent run of form at the moment as they move up to 7th and 3 points behind Wolves. Wolves drop down the race for Champions League football as they remain 6th but go 3 points behind United. 

Burnley 1 vs. 1 Sheffield United

Tarkowski gave Burnley the lead before half time but Sheffield United managed to steal the point at the end through a brilliant goal by Egan. Burnley remain 10th while Sheffield drop down to 9th a point behind 6th placed Wolves. 

Newcastle 2 vs. 2 West Ham

Antonio gave West Ham the lead in the 4th minute but Almiron equalised for Newcastle in the 17th minute. Soucek then restored the lead for West Ham in the 65th minute but Shelvery equalised two minutes later. The two teams shared the points as neither could grab the winner. Newcastle move into 12th while West Ham remain 16th but now 4 points clear of the relegation zone. 

Liverpool 2 vs. 0 Aston Villa

Villa looked like they might manage a point or more as they restricted a second string Liverpool team for 70 minutes. The changes were made though and Mane along with Curtis Jones sealed the win for the Champions, their first since being crowned. Liverpool go back to being 23 points clear while Villa remain 18th and a point from safety. 

Southampton 1 vs. 0 Man City

Che Adams scored a brilliant long range effort in the 16th minute and Southampton put in a solid defence performance to get a shock 1-0 over Pep and co. Southampton move up to 13th in the table while City remain 2nd 8 points ahead of Leicester. 

Tottenham 1 vs. 0 Everton

A deflected Keane own goal in the 24th minute was enough for Mourinho and team in what was a boring game without any real moments of excitement. The points are what matter though and Tottenham remain 8th 1 point from a European place while Everton are 11th. 

La Liga MW 34

Atletico Madrid 3 vs. 0 Mallorca

Morata scored 2 and Koke scored the other as Atletico got a comfortable win against Mallorca. Atletico remain 3rd 2 points ahead of Sevilla while Mallorca remain 18th 6 points from safety.

Celta Vigo 1 vs. 1 Real Betis

Nolito gave Celta the lead in the 22nd minute but Feddal got a late equaliser in the 79th minute to manage a point for the away team. Celta move up to 16th 6 points clear of the relegation zone while Betis drop down to 14th. 

Valladolid 1 vs. 0 Alaves

Moreno scored the winner in the 88th minute as Valladolid clinched 3 points at the very end. Valladolid move up to 13th with the win while Alaves remain 15th in the table. 

Granada 2 vs. 2 Valencia

After 60 goalless minutes in this game the flood gates suddenly opened as Fernandes gave Granada the lead in the 61st minute via a penalty. Vallejo equalised 2 minutes later for Valencia and 5 minutes later Guedes gave Valencia the lead. The away team could not hold on to 3 points though as Vico equalised in the 86th minute. Granada drop into 10th while Valencia move into 9th. 

Bilbao 0 vs. 1 Real Madrid

Real’s title push might not be extravagant but they are getting the job done as a Ramos penalty in the 73rd minute was enough to seal 3 points. Bilbao remain 8th in the table while Real remain 4 points clear of Barcelona. 

Espanyol 0 vs. 1 Leganes

Silva got the only goal of the game for Leganes in the 53rd minute as Calleri was sent off for the home team late on. Espanyol are all but relegated as they remain bottom of the table and 11 points from safety. Leganes remain 19th and 7 points from safety. 

Osasuna 0 vs. 0 Getafe

Osasuna and Getafe played out a goalless draw as Getafe continue to have a lacklustre return to football. Osasuna remain 11th while Getafe remain 6th in the table. 

Villarreal 1 vs. 4 Barcelona

Pau Torres scored an own goal in the 3rd minute to give Barcelona the lead. Moreno equalised for Villarreal in the 14th minute but it was short lived. Suarez and Griezmann added goals before half time and Fati sealed the deal in the 87th minute in a comfortable win. Villarreal remain 5th and 6 points from Sevilla while Barcelona remain 2nd 4 points behind Real. 

Levante 1 vs. 1 Real Sociedad

Isak gave Sociedad the lead in the 12th minute but Nogales equalised for Levante in the 16th minute. Neither team could break the deadlock as they ended up sharing the points. Levante remain 12th while Real Sociedad remain 7th. 

Sevilla 1 vs. 0 Eibar

Ocampos grabbed the winner in the 56th minute as Sevilla managed the 3 points against Eibar. Sevilla remain 4th in the table while Eibar remain 17th and 6 points clear of the relegation zone. 

Serie MW 30

Juventus 4 vs. 1 Torino

Dybala and Cuadrado put Juventus 2-0 up before Belotti grabbed a penalty at half time to make it 2-1. Ronaldo scored a brilliant free kick in the 2nd half and Djidji scored an own goal to seal the win for Juventus. Juventus remain top of the table and now 7 points clear of Lazio. Torino drop down to 16th in the table. 

Sassuolo 4 vs. 2 Lecce

Caputo scored in the 5th minute to give Sassuolo the lead but Lucioni equalised for Lecce in the 27th minute. Berardi scored a penalty in the 63rd minute to restore Sassuolo’s lead but Mancosu also scored a penalty for Lecce 4 minutes later to equalise once again. Boga scored the winner in the 78th minute for Sassuolo while Muldur sealed the deal late on. Sassuolo climb up to 10th with the win while Lecce remain 18th and now 2 points from safety. 

Lazio 0 vs. 3 AC Milan

Calhanoglu, Ibrahimovic, and Rebic all scored in a big win for Milan over Lazio. Milan remain 7th 2 points behind 5th placed AS Roma while Lazio drop to 7 points behind Juventus and only 4 above Inter. 

Inter Milan 1 vs. 2 Bologna

Lukaku gave Inter the lead in the 22nd minute, but Bologna mounted a late comeback. Soriano was sent off for Bologna in the 57th minute and Bastoni was sent off for Inter in the 77th minute. Juwara grabbed the equaliser for the away team in the 74th minute and Barrow grabbed the winner in the 80th minute. Inter miss a chance to close the gap to Lazio as they remain 3rd only a point above Atalanta. Bologna climb up to 9th with the win. 

Sampdoria 3 vs. 0 SPAL

Linetty scored two and Gabbiadini got the other as Sampdoria got 3 points in a comfortable game against SPAL. Sampdoria move up to 14th with the win while SPAL drop to the bottom of the table 8 points from safety. 

Cagliari 0 vs. 1 Atalanta

A rare occasion where Atalanta only managed the one goal as Fruto scored a penalty in the 27th minute to gain 3 points. Carboni was sent off for Cagliari before the penalty. Cagliari drop down to 11th while Atalanta go to within a point of 3rd place Inter. 

Brescia 2 vs. 0 Verona

Papetti and Donnarumma scored the goals as Brescia got an important win against Verona in their race for survival. Brescia move into 19th and 6 points from safety while Verona remain 8th. 

Udinese 2 vs. 2 Genoa

Fofana and Lasagna scored to give Udinese a 2-0 lead but Genoa pulled off a late comeback with Pandev and Pinamonti scoring the goals. Udinese remain 15th in the table while Genoa remain 17th. 

Parma 1 vs. 2 Fiorentina

Pulgar scored two penalties in the first half to give Fiorentina the lead. Kucka got one penalty for himself in the second half to give Parma some hope but Fiorentina held on for the 3 points. Parma drop down to 12th while Fiorentina climb into 14th. 

Napoli 2 vs. 1 AS Roma

Callejon got Napoli the lead in the 55th minute while Mkhitaryan grabbed the equaliser for Roma 5 minutes later. Insigne grabbed the winner in the 82nd minute as Napoli won 3 big points. Napoli remain 6th but go level on points with Roma who remain 5th on goal difference. 

DFB Pokal Final 

Bayer Leverkusen 2 vs. 4 Bayern Munich

It was a routine win for Bayern to make two trophies for them this season as they comfortably beat Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal final. Alaba and Gnabry scored 1st half goals to give Bayern the lead while Lewandowski made it 0-3 in the 59th minute. Bender got one back for Leverkusen but Lewandowski scored another in the 89th minute. Havertz scored a penalty in the final moments of the game to make it 2 for Leverkusen. Bayern can now focus on completing the treble that is is the Champions League.
