Premier League MW 5

Everton 2 vs. 2 Liverpool

Everton took on Liverpool in a Merseyside Derby that actually had some stakes to it. Mane scored in the 3rd minute to give Liverpool a quick lead as the reds looked to regain momentum. Van Dijk then had to be subbed off with an injury to his knee after a clash with Pickford and since then the Dutchman has been ruled out for almost the entire season. Keane then equalised for Everton in the 19th minute. Salah regained the lead for Liverpool in the 72nd minute but Calvert-Lewin once again got Everton to equalise in the 81st minute. Richarlison was send off in the 90th minute and a Henderson goal was ruled out in extra time after a toe nail offside. Everton remain top of the table with 13 points a point ahead of Villa. Liverpool climb up to 3rd with the point 3 points behind Everton. 

Man City 1 vs. 0 Arsenal

Sterling scored the only goal of the game in the 23rd minute as City got 3 points against Arsenal and Pep got one over Arteta. The win for City sees them move up to 11th while Arsenal drop into 5th with the loss.

Newcastle 1 vs. 4 Man United

Man United got back to winning ways with a win against Newcastle. Luke Shaw scored an own goal in the 2nd minute as it looked like it would be more of the same for United but Maguire equalised for United in the 23rd minute. Newcastle never really looked like they would win the game and United scored 3 goals in the final 10 minutes to record a feel good win. Newcastle drop down to 13th with the loss while United move into 15th with the win. 

Sheffield United 1 vs. 1 Fulham

These two teams were seeking their first points of the season and they got it after 70 minutes of boring football. Lookman gave Fulham the lead in the 77th minute but Billy Sharp scored a penalty in the 85th minute to equalise for Sheffield United as the points were shared. The two teams remain 19th and 20th but with a point each.

Crystal Palace 1 vs. 1 Brighton

In this weird derby between the teams Zaha got the first goal to give Palace the lead in the 19th minute via a penalty. It looked like Palace were heading for 3 points but Mac Allister equalised for Brighton in the 90th minute. Dunk was sent off for Brighton in the 93rd minute as the teams held on for a point. Palace drop down to 14th with the point while Brighton drop into 16th. 

Tottenham 3 vs. 3 West Ham

Son scored in the 1st minute and Kane added two more by the 20th minute as it looked like Tottenham would run rampant in this derby. At half time Tottenham were being lauded as title contenders and by the 80th minute Mourinho had brought on Bale to make his debut. Balbuena then got a goal in the 82nd minute but Tottenham were still confident. Sanchez then scored an own goal in the 85th minute as the nerves started to creep up. Lanzini then scored in the 94th minute to equalise with an amazing shot from outside the box as West Ham came back to get a point. Tottenham drop down to 7th with the point while West Ham climb up to 9th. 

Leicester 0 vs. 1 Aston Villa

Villa were looking to maintain their 100% winning run while Leicester were looking to bounce back and Villa came out on top. After a very close game over 90 minute Ross Barkley got the winner in the 91st minute with a brilliant shot from outside the box. Leicester drop down to 4th with the loss while Villa remain 2nd but now only a point behind Everton having played a game less. 

West Brom 0 vs. 0 Burnley

These two teams played out the first 0-0 draw of the season as neither side could break the other down. West Brom remain 17th while Burnley remain 18th. 

Leeds 0 vs. 1 Wolverhampton

Jimenez got Wolves back to winning ways against Leeds in what was a tough game as the Mexican scored in the 70th minute. Leeds drop to 10th with the loss while Wolves jump up to 6th with the win. 

La Liga MW 6

Granada beat Sevilla 1-0, Atletico beat Celta Vigo 0-2, Cadiz beat Real Madrid 0-1, Getafe beat Barcelona 1-0, and Villarreal beat Valencia 2-1. Some major upsets in La Liga this weekend as Atletico are come out as the real winners. Real Sociedad, Villarreal, Real Madrid and Getafe make up the top four while Atletico sit 8th and Barcelona sit 9th. Sevilla are 10th while Valencia are 13th. 

Serie MW 4

Napoli beat Atalanta 4-1, Sampdoria beat Lazio 3-0, Milan beat Inter 1-2, Juventus drew with Crotone 1-1, and Roma beat Benevento 5-2. Milan climb to the top of Serie A while Sassuolo, Atalanta and Napoli make up the top four. Juventus and Inter are 5th and 6th respectively while Roma sit 8th and Lazio are 15th. A resurgent Milan are looking good at the moment while other struggle to gain points.

Bundesliga MW 4

Leverkusen beat Mainz 0-1, Dortmund beat Hoffenheim 0-1, Leipzig beat Augsburg 0-2, Bayern beat Arminia 1-4, Monchengladbach drew against Wolfsburg 1-1, and Schalke drew against Union Berlin 1-1. Not the most high scoring of weekends in German football but the jobs were done. Leipzig, Bayern, Dortmund, and Frankfurt make up the top four while Leverkusen sit 9th and Monchengladbach sit 11th in the table. 

Ligue MW 7

Rennes drew with Dijon 1-1, PSG beat Nimes 0-4, Marseille beat Bordeaux 3-1, Lyon beat Strasbourg 2-3, Monaco drew with Montpellier 1-1, and Lille beat Lens 4-0. Lille, PSG, Rennes, and Nice make up the top four while Marseille sit 6th, Monaco sit 8th and Lyon sit 9th. PSG get closer to the top but Lille stay strong while the rest falter.
