Some big games!
Premier League MW 7
Wolverhampton vs. Crystal Palace
9th vs. 8th as Wolves welcome Palace with both teams level on points with 10. The two teams have had decent starts to the season and find themselves in the top 10 and so this should be an interesting game. A win for either team would take them up to the top 3.
Sheffield United vs. Man City
No respite for Sheffield United as they welcome 13th placed Man City this weekend as the Blades sit 19th in the table. Sheffield are still looking for their first win of the season while City have only won 1 of their last 4. City will want to get a win so as to not lose more ground to the top.
Liverpool vs. West Ham
Liverpool sit 2nd as they take on 12th placed West Ham who have drawn their last 2 games. West Ham haven’t lost in 4 games and look quite decent this season while Liverpool have been far from their best and with Fabinho injured there are more problems at the back. It could be a quite open game and West Ham could manage a surprise.
Aston Villa vs. Southampton
3rd placed Villa finally tasted defeat last weekend while Southampton beat leaders Everton as they sit 7th. A win for Southampton would take them above Villa while Villa will be looking to return to winning ways. This should be a fun game to watch.
Newcastle vs. Everton
14th placed Newcastle take on leaders Everton who lost their first game last weekend. Newcastle have one win in their last 5 and shouldn’t be a massive problem for Everton as they look to bounce back from their defeat.
Man United vs. Arsenal
15th vs. 11th as United take on Arsenal with 2 points separating the teams. United drew against Chelsea last weekend and beat Leipzig in the Champions League and have been on a good run since the break. Arsenal have looked shaky and have lost 2 games in a row as Arteta comes under some pressure to get a result. A big game for both Ole and Arteta, Ole is looking to gain their first win at OT in the league this season while Arsenal are looking to bounce back.
Tottenham vs. Brighton
5th placed Spurs take on 16th placed Brighton who are winless in their last 4 as they travel to London. Spurs have been doing well but a loss to Antwerp in the Europa League has put a downer on their momentum. Tottenham should still win this especially since it will be an open game.
Fulham vs. West Brom
20th vs. 17th as the two bottom teams look to get their first wins of the season. The relegation zone seems to be a mini league of their own at the moment as neither team seems to be able to beat the other. A close game and one too close to call.
Leeds vs. Leicester
6th vs. 4th as Leeds welcome Leicester with both teams playing some good football. This should be an entertaining clash and it will be interesting to see how Leicester handle Bielsa’s high octane Leeds.
La Liga MW 8
Real Madrid welcome Huesca, Sevilla travel to Bilbao, Atletico travel to Osasuna, Barceloan travel to Alaves, and Valencia entertain Getafe. Barcelona and Sevilla are playing catch up while the rest are looking to stay at the top of the table.
Serie A MW 6
Atalanta travel to Crotone, Inter take on Parma, Milan travel to Udinese, Juventus travel to Spezia, Lazio travel to Torino, Napoli entertain Sassuolo, and Roma welcome Fiorentina. Some interesting and decent fixtures for the top teams in Serie A this weekend.
Bundesliga MW 6
Schalke take on Stuttgart, Dortmund travel to Arminia, Bayern travel to Koln, Monchengladbach take on Leipzig, and Leverkusen travel to Freiburg. Some tough games in the league this weekend but otherwise straight forward for Dortmund and Bayern.
Ligue 1 MW 9
Rennes take on Brest, PSG travel to Nantes, Monaco take on Bordeaux and Lille take on Lyon in the games this weekend. PSG are looking to maintain their lead at the top while the rest once again play catch up.
