Midweek Football Review
Carabao Cup final set, while Juventus end Milan’s run!
Carabao Cup Semi-Finals
Tottenham 2 vs. 0 Brentford
Sissoko scored in the 12th minute to give Tottenham the lead while Brentford could have got one back in the 2nd half but the goal was ruled out by a ridiculous VAR decision. Tottenham then made it 2 in the 70th minute via Son and the situation was done. Tottenham reach the final and have a chance to win their first trophy in many many years. Brentford will feel unlucky to get knocked out.
Man United 0 vs. 2 Man City
After what was a close 1st half in which City dominated but failed to finish their chances Pep and team finished the game in the 2nd. Stones scored in the 50th minute to get the lead. Martial then went diving into the penalty box to get a freebie Fernandes goal but it didn’t work. Fernandinho then scored a brilliant goal in the 83rd minute to seal the win. City look to make it 4 in a row as they head to the final where they will face Mourinho. United and Ole get dumped out of yet another semi-final.

Roma sit 3rd and go within 4 points of Milan while Juventus move into 4th, 7 points behind Milan and with a game in hand. The title race in Italy is starting to gain momentum. Napoli, Atalanta, and Lazio sit 6th, 7th, and 8th.
