Southampton drop down to 17th but with Fulham losing there is no threat of relegation as they are secure for next season.

Wolves remain 12th in the table while Brighton drop down to 16th with the loss.

Aston Villa 1 vs. 3 Man United

Traore scored a wonderful goal in the 24th minute to give Villa the lead and the home team held on to it until the 2nd half. 45 minute United struck again as Fernandes scored a penalty to equalise followed by goals from Greenwood and Cavani to seal the win for the away team. Fulham 0 vs. 2 Burnley

Westwood and Wood scored in the 1st half to give Burnley the lead and it stayed that way for the rest of the game even with Fulham trying their best. Fulham are relegated with the loss as they sit 10 points from safety with 3 games to go. Burnley move up to 14th with the win.

La Liga MW 35

Barcelona and Atletico drew 0-0. Real Madrid and Sevilla drew 2-2. Neither team could take advantage as they race remains as is with 3 games to go. Atletico remain 2 points clear of Real and Barcelona while Sevilla sit 4 points behind Barcelona. It’s going to be a nervy ending.

Serie MW 35

Napoli beat Spezia 1-4, Inter beat Sampdoria 5-1, Fiorentina beat Lazio 2-0, Atalanta beat Parma 2-5, Roma beat Crotone 5-0, and Milan beat Juventus 0-3. Not a low scoring weekend in Italy as all the teams registered big wins with Lazio and Juventus ending up on the losing sides. Champions Inter keep their gap at 13 points while Atalanta remain 2nd level on points with Milan in 3rd. Napoli sit 4th 2 points behind Milan. Juventus are 5th and a point behind Napoli. Lazio are 5 points behind Juventus while Roma are 6 points behind Lazio and will certainly not play in the 1st two tiers of European football next season.

Bundesliga MW 32

Dortmund beat Leipzig 3-2, Leverkusen drew with Werder Bremen 0-0. Wolfsburg beat Union Berlin 3-0, Bayern thrashed Monchengladbach 6-0, and Frankfurt drew with Mainz 1-1. Bayern go 10 points clear and with 2 games to go seal another Bundesliga title as they are crowned champions. Leipzig remain 2nd but now only 4 points ahead of 3rd placed Wolfsburg. Dortmund move into 4th with the win a point ahead of Frankfurt who drop into 5th. Leverkusen are 6th and 6 points behind Frankfurt as the best they can do will be Europa League football. Dortmund the big winners this weekend as the race for top four heats up with 2 games to go but Bayern are yet again champions of Germany.

Ligue MW 36

Lille beat Lens 0-3, Lyon beat Lorient 4-0, Monaco beat Reims 0-1, and PSG drew with Rennes 1-1. Lille go 3 points clear of PSG at the top of the table with 2 games to go. Monaco go within 2 points of PSG and remain 5 behind Lille while Lyon sit 4th a point behind Monaco. It’s advantage Lille and with two games to go if they continue to win they will be crowned Champions of France. If PSG drop anymore points then it’s game over as well. Monaco would need Lille and PSG to lose both of their next games and would need to win their own 2 games to stand a chance. Lyon would need everyone to lose their games to finish top. Interesting race.
